The IC-756PROII continues the phenomenal performance of the 32-bit floating point DSP from the IC-756PRO. The 24-bit AD/DA converter makes it possible to provide ultra-wide dynamic range of signal management. The receiver delivers clear signal without distortion in any signal conditions, from a very weak signal to an extremely strong signal. The powerful combination supports many DSP features exclusive to the IC-756PROII

Select an appropriate filter shape, depending on your operating style or band conditions. Independent SSB and CW Filters give you the flexibility.

IF Filter Shapes
You will never have to purchase optional filters, with overone hundred different filter widths, just dial in the width you want.

High Performance Receiver
A measurable improvement in the newly designed 4-element system for the IC-756PROII, delivers a well respected 3rd order intercept point. By refining the receiver front-end mixer circuits, ICOM engineers made improvements in the input filter, buffer amplifier, and other electronic components from the RF stage to the mixer stage.

Digital Twin PBT
Twin PBT allows electronically shift the upper and lower IF passbands, or shift the entire passband to eliminate interfering signal.

Digital RF Speech Compression
ICOM's Digital Speech Processor adds more punch to your signal to break through QRM.

Digital Noise Reduction
The DSP is able to reduce various types of noise and enhances the receive signal components. This provides an outstanding audio and signal to noise ratio which creats clean audio.

Microphone equalizer
The Microphone equalizer allows you to adjust bass and treble characteristics to toal 121 levels for all voice operations. The transmit filter width in SSB mode is selectable from 2.8/2.4/2.2 KHz. The RX tone control is also an equalizer for the received audio. As with transmit audio, select the amount of Bass and Treble you need for the audio clarity you want.

HF + 50 MHz band coverage
Covering all HF bands as well as 50 MHz, the IC-756PROII all mode transceiver also includes a genearl coverage receiver from 0.03-60 MHz with full IF DSP capability.

Highly Stable Transmitter
The IC-756PROII utilizes two 2SC5125 transistors in the PA Unit. Along with superior IMD characteristics, these transistors have plenty of power to allow for 100W full duty cycle operation.

Multiple Antennas
The ATU remembers the last tuned combination used in the selected band, allowing quick band hopping from 160-6 meters. Also, the PROII has an antenna switch for up to 3 RX and 2 TX antennas. This antenna management systems included a separate RX antenna connector for receive only antennas like your favorite wire or beverage antenna.

5-inch TFT Color LCD
Enjoy the full 5-inch TFT color display. The IC-756PROII extends its functinability with more display adjustments, color types, and improved contrast. The 8 colors of display settings and 7 types of font settings are available. Various information is indicated on the color LCD, separated into upper and lower screen. The lower screen can spread vertically to increase the information viewing area.

RTTY demodulator and decoder
The built-in RTTY demodulator and decoder reads baudot RTTY signals on the screen without turning on your PC or other gear. The RTTY tuning indicator helps critical tuning. The Twin Peak filter removes interfering QRM giving you a more accurate decoded message.

Data Communication
Perfected for the serious Data operator, the IC-756PROII offers Data operation on SSB, AM and FM modes. Special filters, Band Pass Filters (BPF), are automatically selected when the IF filter passband is reuced to 500Hz or less in SSB mode. The BPF automatically sharpens for better rejection of interfering signals. Perfect for PSK31, SSTV and FSK modes.
Along with BPF, the IC-756PROII automatically turns off the Compression and enables the 1/4-tuning step for easier operation and more accurate tuning.

Memory keyer
