Simple operation
Controls and switches are clearly labeled, providing intuitive operation. A large,
easy-to-read display measuring 20(H)x60(W)mm indicates all necessary information at a
glance. The adjustable backlighting LCD for nighttime operation.
"TAG" Scan system
The "tag" scan system makes scanning easy - simply add or delete channels
at the push of a switch.
"Smart" microphone
The microphone allows conveniently change channels or select output power without
touching the front panel switches.
Dual and tri watch functions
features often found on radios costing much more are standard on the IC-M45. Dual
and tri watch functions provide a convinient way to monitor channel 16 (or channel 16 and
the call channel) while operating on another channel.
